Stonewall Lane is a short dead-end street running east from Andover Road, about 240 feet north of Cider Mill Way. It was laid out on a "Definitive Subdivision Plan, Kiely Estates, Stonewall Lane," drawn by Raymond Engineering Service of 574 Boston Road, dated July 30, 1999 and revised to January 7, 2000, for the applicant and owner, Richard Annese of 11 Estey Road. The town clerk certified on January 14, 2000 that no appeal had been filed, and the plan was recorded the same day (Plan Book 202, Plan 75). It shows Stonewall Lane as a way of variable width ending in a turnaround 60 feet in radius, running along an existing stone wall on its northern line, with two new house lots behind a lot that kept the old house on Andover Road.
The houses on the lane were built in 2001 and 2018. At the third session of the fall town meeting, on October 12, 2010, the town voted under Article 37, submitted by the Planning Board, to accept Stonewall Lane "from Andover Road eastward for its entire length within the Kiely Estates Subdivision," with the recommendation of the Finance Committee, the Board of Selectmen and the Street Acceptance Committee. The origin of the names Stonewall Lane and Kiely Estates was not found, beyond the stone wall that the plan shows along the lane.
